New Update

Wow, its been a long time since I have posted. Just wanted to update my blog for those of you that read this. I started my 2nd IVF cycle @ the very end of January. Things were progressing slowly with the Stims even though my RE put me on a new protocol:( I had egg retrieval on Feb 10th and they ended up getting 12 eggs but only 10 were mature & 7 fertilized. I was very dissapointed to say the least, because my 1st cycle I had 12 mature eggs and all 12 fertilized. Well what I learend was that all cycles are 100% different and it really is quality that matters over quantity. I was assuming I would be doing a day 3 transfer because of the limited amount of embryos, I recieved a phone call on day 3 saying that all of our embies are still thriving and they are making it a 5 day transfer. I was a little concerned because I was worried that not many of them would make it to day 5, my RE says I worry way to much, and she told me we have some "spanking embryos" this time, 6 out of the 7 are the highest grade you can get! Well our transfer day is Friday the 15th of Feb @ 11:30. I am super duper excited and also scared shitless!!!!
